Former IAEA Chief Warns UN on Trump: Amidst the ongoing fierce conflict between Israel, America and Iran, former Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohammad Al-Baradei has appealed to the Gulf countries and the United Nations to stop US President Donald Trump. “Stop this madman immediately with all your might, before he turns the entire Middle East region into a ball of fire,” al-Baradei said, according to Iran’s Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Al-Baradei strongly condemned Trump’s Iran policy and appealed to the Gulf countries and the United Nations for immediate intervention. He wrote on social media platform In an English post he asked the United Nations directly, “Can’t anything be done to stop this madness?”

Bardei is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize

Former IAEA chief al-Baradei headed the agency from 1997 to 2009 and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005. He had earlier also criticized America’s ‘selective war’ policies. He says that increasing tension in the region can destabilize the entire Middle East.

Trump has recently given a new ultimatum of 48 hours to Iran. He warned that if Iran does not reach an agreement within this period or does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz, there will be serious consequences. Iran has completely rejected this ultimatum.
