Former Indian cricketer raised questions on Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s batting technique.

New Delhi: Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become known for his unique talent in Indian cricket. In his youth itself, he has given such performances which astonish even the biggest legends. Vaibhav, who started his IPL career with Rajasthan Royals last season, caught everyone’s attention with his explosive batting in IPL 2025. At the age of only 14, he hit amazing sixes and troubled the bowlers, which has given him a new identity.

The biggest example of Vaibhav’s talent was seen in the 2026 Under-19 World Cup final. His brilliant inning of 175 off 80 balls against England helped India score over 400 runs and ensure a one-sided victory in the final. While Vaibhav is being praised, former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa has raised some questions regarding his batting technique. Uthappa believes that Vaibhav is a very good player, but his game now largely depends on luck. He said that it is difficult to survive for a long time in international cricket only on the basis of luck.
