Former NFL player Tre Johnson suddenly dies during family trip

Former NFL player Tre Johnson has been confirmed to have passed away by his family.

The player was on a trip with his family when he died suddenly on February 15 at the age of 54.

The later athlete was known for his role as offensive lineman with the Washington Commanders.

He made appearance in 93 regular-season games with 72 starts.

Tre’s death was confirmed by his family in a Facebook post by his wife Irene.

She wrote “His four children, Chloe, EJ, EZ and Eden, extended family, friends, and I are devastated and in shock.”

“If you know Tre’, you know what a devoted and loving father, he was to his children.”

Irene added “Tre’ lived for his kids’ sports activities and supported them through every practice and game until he took his last breath.”

While his cause of death has not been revealed yet, multiple outlets have reported that Tre was battling with health issues prior to his sudden demise.
