Former player in Pakistan mentioned IPL in PSL presentation

IPL is going on in full swing in India, while PSL is going on in the neighboring country Pakistan. This year Pakistan Super League has been in the news due to many unique things like Karachi Kings gifted a hair dryer to James Vince, another player was gifted a trimmer. Lahore Qalandars gifted a 24 karat gold plated iPhone 16 Pro to their captain Shaheen Afridi. But meanwhile, former Pakistani cricketer and now commentator Rameez Raja has made a big mistake during the post-match presentation. In this program organized after the 12th match played between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars, Rameez mistakenly identified PSL as IPL (Indian Premier League).

Rameez Raja was planning a presentation after the match, during which he made a mistake. While he was giving the ‘Catch of the Match’ award to Multan Sultan’s fast bowler Joshua Little. While praising Joshi’s fielding, he mistakenly called him ‘Catch of the IPL’, when the award belonged to the PSL. The video of this incident is going viral rapidly on social media. Many Pakistani fans are trolling Rameez for this mistake.

There is a lot of discussion going on in Pakistan regarding the comparison of IPL and PSL. Sometimes it is about the prize money, sometimes it is about the gifts and sometimes it is about the players. Even though Indian officials and players never discuss PSL, such statements about IPL keep coming from Pakistan every day.
