Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s health deteriorated again, Delhi AIIMS admitted in

New Delhi, 12 January. Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s health has deteriorated again and on Monday he was admitted to the All India Institute of Ayurvedic Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. AIIMS doctors told that his MRI will be done. According to doctors, on January 10, Dhankar fainted twice in the washroom.

Had fainted twice in the washroom two days ago.

It is noteworthy that Jagdeep Dhankhar has fainted many times before. These include incidents in Rann of Kutch, Uttarakhand, Kerala and Delhi, where he attended public events as the Vice President. He was also admitted to AIIMS in March last year due to a heart-related problem. He had a stenting procedure there. After his recovery, he was continuously presiding over the proceedings of Rajya Sabha.

However, Dhankhar had resigned from the post of Vice President on July 21 citing health reasons. Then Dhankhar had said in a letter to President Draupadi Murmu that after medical advice, due to health reasons, he was resigning from his post with immediate effect. Dhankhar had written in the letter, ‘Prioritizing my health and in accordance with medical advice, I resign from the post of Vice President of India under Article 67(a) of the Constitution with immediate effect.’
