Four killed, seven injured as truck collides with two cars in Lucknow
Lucknow: A major road accident occurred in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday night in the BBD police station area. A truck collided violently with two cars, resulting in the deaths of four people on the spot and leaving seven others seriously injured.
Upon receiving information, the police rushed the injured to the hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Both vehicles involved in the collision have been taken into custody. The impact of the collision left both cars severely damaged. At present, the police are investigating the accident.
Fatal road accident
Providing details about the incident, ADCP East Pankaj Singh said that the collision involved a truck, an Innova Crysta, and an Omni car on Kartavya Path in the BBD police station area. After the collision, the Innova Crysta and the Omni car were severely damaged. Passersby informed the police about the accident. Upon arrival, the police rescued the injured from the vehicles and sent them to the trauma center, where doctors declared four people dead. Seven others are undergoing treatment.

ADCP East Pankaj Singh further said that there were 11 occupants in the Innova Crysta and Omni cars. Of these, four people died and seven were injured. The truck has been taken into custody after the incident. Traffic, which was disrupted due to the accident, was restored after the vehicles were removed from the road. Eyewitnesses described the accident as horrific and the occupants of the cars screaming for help. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
