Four people arrested for spreading false information about child kidnapping, police recovered the child safely.

Phulpur Police has achieved great success under the campaign being run against crime and criminals under the direction of Police Commissioner and Additional Police Commissioner. Police have arrested three accused and one accused who spread misleading information about the kidnapping of a child in Phulpur police station area. The police recovered the child safely and disclosed the matter.

Under the efficient supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police Ganganagar and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ganganagar and under the leadership of Assistant Police Commissioner Phulpur, the Phulpur police station team arrested four accused under IPC 70/2026 Section 248/61(1)a/137(2) IPC on Sunday, March 9, 2026, near Parasinpur Canal in Phulpur police station area.

The arrested accused include Bajrangi Bind (30 years), resident of Baudhai Katauta police station, Phulpur, his wife Radhika Bind (28 years), Kamlesh Kumar Bind (30 years) and Akhilesh Kumar (19 years), resident of village Kothra, Fatanpur district, Pratapgarh.

According to the police, Kamlesh Bind was having a dispute with his wife. For this reason, he kept his son in the house of his brother-in-law Bajrangi Bind for his upbringing. On March 7, 2026, the child’s aunt along with the child’s mother had given an application at Phulpur police station demanding the return of the child. Kamlesh Bind was in Surat at that time, so Bajrangi Bind asked for the decision regarding the child to be taken in the presence of the father.

It is said that even after much persuasion, Bajrangi Bind did not return the child, due to which he was challaned under Section 170 IPC. After this, Kamlesh Bind conspired with his brother-in-law Bajrangi Bind, sister Radhika Bind and brother Akhilesh Kumar. As per the plan, the child was hidden somewhere and a plan was made to spread false news of kidnapping on the child’s mother and aunt, so that the child could be kept away from the mother.

According to the plan, information about the kidnapping of the child was given to Phulpur police station on March 8, 2026. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police immediately formed a team and started investigation. Due to the activeness of the police, the child was recovered safely and the four accused were arrested for giving false information.

Incharge Inspector Sheshnath Pal, Senior Sub Inspector Saurabh Pandey, Sub Inspector Girish Chandra Maurya, Sub Inspector Vikrant Kumar Tiwari and Constable Shrish Kumar Mishra were included.
