gumla: A total of 4 people have died in two separate road accidents in the district. A truck laden with bauxite crushed youths riding a bike near Mudtangwa turn between Chingri and Chipri in Bishunpur police station area, due to which two youths died tragically on the spot. Whereas a 22-year-old youth named Gudeshwar Sahu is seriously injured, who was brought to Community Health Center Bishoonpur and after first aid, was sent to Sadar Hospital Gumla for better treatment. According to the information received regarding the incident, Gudeshwar Sahu, a resident of Parwal of Bharno police station area, and his two other friends were going to Netarhat on a bike. Then they reached near Mootangwa mode and the truck carrying bauxite from the opposite direction crushed the bike-riding youth. Due to which two youths died tragically on the spot. Whereas a young man named Budheshwar Sahu is seriously injured. Till the time of writing the news, the deceased youths have not been identified. Here, the truck driver has absconded after the incident. The police have taken the body into their custody and started investigating the case.

Gumla: Scooty rider Shanichar Cheek Badaik, his wife Rohita Devi and sister Salo Devi died after being hit by a highway in Tansera village of Sadar police station area on Gumla-Rourkela National Highway Road. According to the information, the deceased Shanichar Cheek was a resident of Jhikirma Podhatoli of Badaik Palkot police station area. He along with his wife Rohita was going to drop his sister Salo Devi to her house in Katetoli. Due to the uncontrolled vehicle, he fell near Tansera and the Hiva coming from behind ran over him. Brother and sister died on the spot while wife Rohita Devi died in Sadar Hospital. Angry villagers blocked the road for some time.
