Four properties of Ani Bullion and associate companies seized, properties found in the name of CMD Ajit Gupta and IFS wife

Lucknow, Read: The Lucknow team of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday seized four properties of Ani Bullion and its partner companies. It includes three immovable and one movable properties. All the properties are in Lucknow, Uttarkashi of Uttarakhand and Delhi. Their value has been estimated at Rs 7.30 crore. Earlier, ED has seized properties worth Rs 16.40 crore of CMD Ajit Gupta, his IFS wife Niharika Singh and others. ED has taken this action under the Money Laundering Act. In this, FD issued from the bank has also been seized.

According to ED, people were made to invest crores of rupees in many schemes. After grabbing the money, the company office was locked. Everyone including the CMD absconded. Investors have filed more than a hundred reports of fraud worth Rs 110 crore.

On the basis of this, ED started investigation under money laundering. According to ED, Ani Group embezzled the money by forming several companies and deposited the amount taken from investors in its different companies and I Vision Credit Co-operative Society. All these were managed by Ajit Kumar Gupta. A company Ani Bullion Industries Pvt. Ltd. Different lands were purchased in the name of. Even before this, ED has seized 20 properties in Lucknow, Amethi and Delhi.
