Crisis on Pakistani players, 4 teams banned PAK players in The Hundred, know what is the reason?

Pakistani Players Ban News: After bad relations between India and Pakistan, now Pakistani cricketers may have to suffer in The Hundred League of England also. Four teams of The Hundred League have decided that they will not buy any Pakistani player in the auction. The owners of these four teams are Indians, under whose policy no bidding will be done on Pakistani players.

Decision of teams with Indian owners

In The Hundred League, Manchester Super Giants, MI London, Southern Brave and Sunrisers Leeds are owned by Indians. These four teams have made it clear that no bids will be placed on Pakistani players in the auction. The auction will run for two days, in which bidding will be done on female players on March 11 and male players on March 12. The auction will be held in London and around one thousand players will participate in it.

A senior ECB official said informally that these four franchises associated with IPL do not plan to place any bid on Pakistani players. Earlier, ECB acting chairman Richard Gould was asked whether Pakistani players would be allowed to play after Indian investment. In his reply it was said that no player will be discriminated against.

Current status of star Pakistani players

Pakistani players have already participated in The Hundred. These include names like Mohammad Aamir, Imad Wasim, Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf. This time the situation looks difficult for them, because the teams with Indian owners have made it clear that they will not buy any Pakistani player in the auction.

Ongoing dispute between India and Pakistan

The dispute between India and Pakistan continues. Relations between the two countries are tense after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in the year 2025. For this reason, the Indian team did not shake hands with Pakistani players even in the T20 World Cup. In the first season of IPL in 2008, Pakistani players played for various teams, but after that they were banned from IPL.

Due to this controversy, now the opportunity for Pakistani players to play in The Hundred League has also been limited. This decision is likely to affect the careers of Pakistan players and their participation in global cricket. In such a situation, everyone’s eyes are on the status of Pakistani players in the upcoming auction.
