Free gas cylinder scheme in Andhra Pradesh from Diwali, approved in cabinet meeting

Latest News :- In Andhra Pradesh, the scheme to provide 3 free gas cylinders per year to poor women will be implemented from Diwali. Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has unanimously approved it. A cabinet meeting was held in Amaravati today (October 23) under the chairmanship of Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. After this, Minister Nathalla Manohar told the press about the important decisions taken in this meeting, “To fulfill the promises made by the coalition government in the Andhra Pradesh elections, many important decisions have been unanimously approved in the current cabinet meeting. .

Accordingly, it has been decided to implement the scheme of providing 3 free gas cylinders to poor women below poverty line every year from Diwali. 3 cylinders free in a year at the rate of 1 cylinder for 4 months. The amount will be credited back to his/her bank account within 48 hours of paying the cylinder amount and receiving the gas cylinder. In this way 3 cylinders will be given free every year. This will put a burden of Rs 2700 crore on Andhra government every year.

Similarly, as per the election promise, this cabinet has also decided to distribute free sand in the entire Andhra Pradesh. There is no need to pay GST for this. In sand-shortage districts, sand will be distributed through agencies at low rent. They can take their sand from the leased land. This scheme should be monitored by the concerned district in-charge and the district in-charge minister.

Temple committees should include one Brahmin and one Navita artist. The cabinet has also approved ordinance amendment for this. The Cabinet has approved taking back 15 acres of land given free of cost to Visakhapatnam Saradha Peeth during the previous Jagan regime. The land whose market value was up to one crore acres was given by the Jagan government to Saradha Peeth at a very low price of one lakh acres. That is why this action was taken,” he said.
