This remark comes as Pakistan faces one of its worst economic crises, with the country begging for IMF loans and even auctioning off national carriers. Pakistan has been suffering from an economic crisis for the past few years, with prices of daily need goods increasing manyfold.

Recently, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif made a bold claim that it won’t have to beg for IMF loans anymore, as the sale of JF-17 fighter jets, jointly developed with China, will secure a good amount of money and help the country recover from the economic crisis.

Targeting the ruling elite, Army Chief Asim Munir and Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the LeT commander declared that any politician or ruler who is not a flag-bearer of Jihad has no right to rule Pakistan.

The LeT commander added that “we will do Jihad with our hands, with our tongue, and with our pen. And while performing this duty, we will return to our Allah.”

“That politician or ruler has no right to rule this state who does not care about prayer, who is not loyal to the Kalima, who is not loyal to the blood of the martyrs, and who is not a flag-bearer of Jihad. I have not said this only here—I said the same thing in front of the Prime Minister in Muzaffarabad too, when all the ministers were sitting there. I said it then, and inshallah I will keep saying it. We will do Jihad with our hands, With our tongue, and with our pen, we will return to our Allah.

Earlier Criticism by Another LeT Commander

This comes after recently, Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Mhd Ashfaq Rana recently launched a scathing attack on Pakistan’s leadership, directly targeting Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir, accusing them of destroying the country.

He claimed had the money borrowed from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) been used properly, the country would not be in such a bad condition today and would have been more beautiful than Saudi Arabia, more developed than Britain, and more advanced and prosperous than Spain.

A Dangerous Shift in Terror Group’s Stance

These remarks mark a dangerous turning point, as the terror organization which hadn’t spoken anything against Pakistan’s leadership is now publicly questioning and harshly criticizing the very establishment that created and nurtured them. The remarks also signal that the day is not far when these homegrown snakes will bite their own masters, the very establishment that fed, armed, and unleashed them against India and Afghanistan for decades may soon face the wrath of the monsters it created.
