French President Macron will come to India, will meet PM Modi in bilateral summit, emphasis will be on strategic partnership.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet French President Emmanuel Macron in Mumbai on Tuesday during which the two leaders will review the progress made in the India-France strategic partnership. This information was given in the official statement. According to the statement, the talks between the two leaders will focus on further strengthening strategic ties and expanding them to new and emerging areas. Prime Minister Modi and President Macron will also discuss issues of regional and global importance.
The official statement said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mumbai on February 17, where he will meet French President Emmanuel Macron.” It said that during this time both the leaders will review the progress made in the India-France strategic partnership. On the invitation of Prime Minister Modi, Macron will visit India from 17 to 19 February.
During this, he will participate in the ‘AI Impact Summit’ organized by India and will hold a bilateral summit with the Prime Minister in Mumbai. This will be his fourth visit to India and first to Mumbai. According to the programme, on February 17 at around 3.15 pm, both the leaders will hold a bilateral meeting at Lok Bhawan in Mumbai. After this, at around 5.15 pm, he will inaugurate the ‘India-France Innovation Year 2026’ and address the industry representatives, startups, researchers and innovators of both the countries.
