From Changi to Noi Bai: Southeast Asian airports jump in global ranking

Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand rose three places to 36th.

The improved ranking reflects developments in operational efficiency and passenger experience, including the use of technology, speed of service, cleanliness, and safety, Nation Thailand reported.

The airport lies about 25-30 kilometers east of central Bangkok, in Bang Phli District of Samut Prakan Province.

As the capital’s main international gateway, it is connected to downtown via the Airport Rail Link, taxis and major highways, with travel times typically ranging from 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
