From Facebook to WhatsApp, the use of Meta’s app will cut the knot! Ongoing subscription fees

The hint was already there. Now the situation is moving in that direction. Most popular apps owned by Meta will cost you a bundle.

In the last few years, apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram have become an integral part of daily life. Not only for communicating with everyone or as a means of entertainment, these apps have become one of the means of promotion for any organization or organization. Now Mark Zuckerberg’s company is collecting money for him. Users who are so used to using Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp for free are now seeing messages popping up on their screens asking them to take a ‘paid subscription’. Not only WhatsApp, Mark Zuckerberg’s company ‘Meta’ has introduced ‘Paid Subscription’ or ‘Premium Feature’ facility for all their platforms around the world.

In India, Facebook and Instagram Plus can be used for Rs 99 per month and WhatsApp Plus at 50 percent discount. Zuckerberg’s company’s main source of revenue was advertising. About 97.6 percent of Meta Agency’s revenue last year came from advertising alone. But in the age of AI, it is not possible to handle such a huge expenditure by just relying on advertising. So Meta wants to create a permanent income stream directly from the users. Moreover, the company currently spends a large amount of money to run the entire app and web platform and is behind the use of artificial intelligence or AI.
