New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has always been open about her love for food, and Delhi’s culinary scene holds a special place in her heart. Whether it’s the rich flavours of Biryani or the comforting Chhole Bhature, the actress doesn’t shy away from sharing her foodie favourites. She recently talked about her go-to dining spots in the capital, including the award-winning Bukhara at ITC Maurya and the ever-popular Parathe Wali Gali in Chandni Chowk.
At the NDTV World Summitwhere she touched upon various subjects like fashion, cinema, and Indian culture, Kareena couldn’t help but dive into her passion for food. She mentioned Bukhara as her favourite restaurant in Delhi, a place known for its legendary North Indian cuisine. When asked about her favourite street food in the national capital, the actress without a second thought mentioned, “Parathe wali gali always.” She further said that while it’s been a long time since she has visited Chandni Chowk, she has always been flabbergasted about the Delhi food.
A true Biryani lover
A true biryani lover at heart, Kareena also expressed her love for this iconic dish, which she admits is an all-time favourite. Further elaborating on her Delhi-special favourite foods, she added that she is a die-hard fan of Chhole Bhature and Aloo Paratha. She ended the conversation by mentioning that she is a true biryani lover and can go on and on about it.

Kareena recently starred in The Buckingham Murderswhich hit theatres in September 2024 and earned her widespread acclaim. Up next is the action-packed Singham Againwhere she’ll share the screen with Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, and other big names. The film is set for release in November.
