BMW India has announced that the prices of all its cars and Mini range will be hiked by 2%. According to the company’s CEO Hardeep Singh Brar, the decision has been taken due to the depreciating rupee, increase in transportation costs and rising cost of raw materials. The prices of BMW cars will increase from April 1, 2026.

BMW sells its vehicles in two ways and . Models produced in India include BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase, BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase, BMW 7 Series, BMW X1, BMW X3, BMW X5, BMW X7, BMW M340i and BMW iX1 Long Wheelbase.

On the other hand, cars that come in fully imported (CBU) form include the BMW i5, BMW i7, BMW i7 M70, BMW iX, BMW Z4 M40i, BMW M2 Coupe, BMW M2 CS, BMW M4 Competition, BMW M4 CS, BMW M5, BMW M8 Competition Coupe, BMW XM as well as Mini Cooper S, Mini Countryman E, Mini JCW Countryman All4, Mini Countryman SE and Mini Convertible.

BMW’s new car

BMW has launched its new BMW M2 CS in India at a price of Rs 1.66 crore (ex-showroom). This is the second CS model from the brand to hit the Indian market after the BMW M4 CS. This car will be completely imported from abroad (CBU). It is more powerful and lighter than the regular M2. Its suspension and body have been specially modified to make the car more stable and drive with excellent control.

The engine of the BMW M2 CS

The car is powered by a 3.0 liter twin-turbo engine that produces 530 HP of power and 650 Nm of torque. The same engine is also used in the BMW M4 GT3 EVO racing car. This car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 302 km/h.
