The process of atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh is not stopping. Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen has released a video in which many Hindu houses have been burnt in Chittagong. Police is busy identifying the accused. Cases have been registered against unknown people, but no one has been arrested so far.
Late night on 19th December, some miscreants locked a house from outside in Lakshmipur Sadar, poured petrol on it and set it on fire. A 7-year-old girl died after being burnt alive in the fire, while three people were seriously burnt. According to the police, the incident took place at around 1 am. A 7-year-old girl died on the spot due to the fire.
On 18 December, Hindu youth Dipu Chandra was beaten to death in Bhaluka near Dhaka. The attackers had accused him of blasphemy. Deepu used to work in a textile factory. It was claimed that Deepu had made comments on Facebook that hurt religious sentiments, but the investigation did not find evidence of any such comment. Whereas this murder was the result of a dispute over work in the factory.
