According to Alfredo Pedullà, the Brazilian switched agents in January and is now part of the same management group as Massimiliano Allegri. That shared connection has helped place him on Milan’s radar, with initial contacts dating back several months.

“It’s not really a surprise to see him linked with Milan,” Pedullà explained, with quotes via MilanNews. “I told you about the change of agent in January, and Gabriel Jesus joined the Branchini group. Branchini is Allegri’s agent and Gabriel Jesus had already been offered to Milan.”

He added: “So this is something we had already revealed as a concrete possibility. We have to include Gabriel Jesus on the list of strikers who could be linked with Milan.”

Pedulla: Gabriel Jesus would give Milan a leap in quality

The Brazilian has seen his role reduced at Arsenal, particularly following the arrival of Viktor Gyökeres, which has further limited his playing time and visibility.

“His contract isn’t very long, he’s playing less, and they’ve signed Gyokeres, so his situation has changed,” Pedullà continued. “It will depend a lot on Arsenal’s valuation, but he’s a strong striker, ready for a different experience.”

Pedullà believes a move could represent a step forward for Milan’s attack. “In my opinion, he would finally give Milan that leap in quality. They’ve been looking for a number nine for a long time. So keep an eye on this, things could develop in May.”
