Galgotias University displayed China’s robotic dog as its own in the AI Impact Expo, Central Government orders to vacate the expo!

New Delhi . After allegations against Galgotias University of Greater Noida of presenting China’s robotic dog as their own, the Central Government has ordered them to vacate the expo immediately. After the university’s fraud came to light on Wednesday, government sources said that they have been asked to immediately vacate the India AI Impact Expo.

It is alleged that this robot was presented by the university as a technology developed in India in the ongoing India AI Impact Summit at Bharat Mandapam. It was claimed that this robot is an in-house developed technology of the university.

It is noteworthy that on the second day of AI Expo, the video of two robotic dogs went viral on social media and after this video surfaced, many tech experts and users claimed that it is actually a robot model of Chinese company Unitri, which is available in the market at a price of Rs 2 to 3 lakh. 4D Lidar technology has been used in this AI-powered robotic dog, with the help of which, apart from climbing stairs, it can also walk easily on rough roads.

Clarifying on this, Galgotias University said in a statement released on Twitter, “The robodog recently purchased from Unitree is meant for display only. It is being used to teach students. Our students are experimenting with it, testing its limits and expanding their knowledge in the process. Galgotias University clarified that they have not built this robodog, nor have they ever claimed so. But what we are building is There are minds who will soon design, engineer and manufacture such technologies right here in India.”
