New Delhi: Ram Charan and Shankar’s highly anticipated Telugu movie, Game Changeris also Ram Charan’s solo release after a gap of five years. His last solo release was Vinaya Vidheya Rama (2019), which also starred Kiara Advani. The film has been made on a massive budget of Rs 450 crore, with just Rs 75 crore spent on shooting four songs.
Now, after five years, the on-screen jodi, Ram Charan and Kiara Advani will be back on the big screen on January 10. As the film is expected to get a solid start at the box office, let’s explore what early estimates have to predict about the film’s collection on its opening day.
Game Changer box office day 1 prediction
As per trade analyst Sacnilk, Game Changer is expected to open at the ticket window big and is expected to collect around Rs 40 crore on its day one with blocked seats. As per advance booking report, Telugu 2D version had sold an over six lakh tickets, while Tamil 2D version has sold over 45,000 tickets, and Hindi 2D has sold over one lakh tickets. The film is touted to be a blockbuster hit with the hype over it increasing every hour.
Meanwhile, in North America the film is expected to collect around $1 million on its opening day.
Meanwhile, the producers of the film approached Telangana government for approval for benefit show at 1 am on Thursday along with ticket price hike but the government denied the request. However, the government allowed additional shows, including 4am show on January 10. On the release day, the price hike has also been allowed. An extra Rs 150 charge will be for multiplexes and Rs 100 for single screens. Additionally, from January 11 to 19, theatres are allowed to screen five shows daily with the additional charge of Rs 100 for multiplexes and Rs 50 for single screens.
