Ganesh Chaturthi Besan Ke Laddu: The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is dedicated to the worship of Lord Ganesha, who is worshiped as the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom, prosperity and fortune. This special festival is celebrated with great pomp in India. On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, devotees install the idol of Lord Ganesha in homes, temples and public places and worship Bappa for 10 consecutive days. Huge pandals and houses are beautifully decorated to welcome them.

To welcome Bappa, his devotees make preparations a month in advance. Along with this, different types of dishes are also offered to Bappa in 10 days. Modaks, laddus and other sweets are specially offered during the puja. In such a situation, you can make Motichoor laddus at home to offer to Bappa. It is very easy to make it at home.

Material
Gram dal or gram flour – 1 cup, sugar – 1 cup, ghee – 2-3 tablespoons, water – 1 cup, almonds, pistachios – ground, cardamom powder – 1 tablespoon, raisins – 10-12, white sesame – 2-3 spoons

Method of making laddu

To make Motichoor laddu, first wash the gram thoroughly and soak it in water for 2-3 hours. After this, filter it with water and put it in a grinder to make a thick paste. Now heat ghee in a pan, then add this paste and fry it well on low flame. Fry the lentils until they turn golden.

Now to make syrup, add 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar in a pan. Boil it and prepare syrup. Now add sugar syrup to the roasted lentils and mix well. After this, cook the mixture on low flame until it becomes a thick paste. But keep in mind that the mixture should not stick to the surface of the pan. Take out the mixture in a plate to cool. – Add cardamom powder, almonds, pistachios and raisins and mix.

-Make the mixture into round laddus with your hands. Apply white sesame seeds on laddu for decoration. You can also add chopped walnuts and pistachios on top of it. -Keep the laddus to cool for some time. Now gram dal laddus are ready.
