Gas prices increase – VnExpress International

Vietnam’s gasoline prices rose Thursday afternoon as global fuel prices increased.

The most popular fuel E10 RON95 went up 4.28% to VND21,430 (US$0.81) per liter.

Biofuel E5 RON92 added 5.35% to VND20,880. Diesel increased by 10.5% to VND25,760.

Globally fuel markets have trended higher in recent days compared with seven days earlier, driven by escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran, as well as the Houthi movement in Yemen declaring a maritime blockade in the Red Sea, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
