Vietnam gasoline and diesel prices went up Thursday, with the latter reaching a two-month high.

The popular fuel RON95 rose 1.71% to VND20,850 (US$0.82) per liter.

Biofuel E5 RON92 gained 1.75% to VND19,740.

Diesel increased by 4.24% to VND18,910, highest since August 22.

Fuel prices in the last seven days were affected by tension in the Middle East, OPEC+ suspending its plan to increase oil production, and ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, according to regulators.

Gasolines went up 2.2-2.7% and oils went up 3-15.1%.

RON95 is now priced at $85.5 per barrel and diesel $90.7.
