Gaurav Khanna responded to trollers on winning the trophy of Bigg Boss 19

Questions are being raised on Gaurav Khanna’s victory in Bigg Boss 19

Mumbai: The finale of Bigg Boss 19 took place on December 7, in which TV actor Gaurav Khanna won the trophy. While many fans were happy with his victory, some contestants and social media users alleged that Gaurav won the show because of his popularity and channel related background. It was especially said that Gaurav has been the face of Colors TV, hence he got this benefit. Now Gaurav Khanna has openly responded to all these claims.

Gaurav Khanna’s clear statement

In an interview given to Faridoon Shahryar, Gaurav Khanna rejected these allegations outright. He clearly said that his victory is not the result of any channel’s support, but the result of years of hard work. Gaurav says that people often assume that a well-known face gets everything easily, whereas the reality is very different from this.

Distance from Colors TV

In the interview, Gaurav Khanna also told that he has not been a part of Colors TV for the last 15 years. He said that his last show was aired in 2010, in which Yami Gautam was with him. Gaurav said that even after doing a show 15 years ago, people consider him the face of Colors today, then it is a proof of his popularity and not an endorsement of any channel.

Hard work considered the reason for victory

Gaurav told that he has worked hard continuously for 20 years. It is not easy to survive in the TV industry. He clarified that no show can be won on the basis of name or background alone. To win a show like Bigg Boss, you have to prove yourself every day. He believes that if his performance was not good, the trophy would not have been in his hands.

Bigg Boss Experience

Gaurav Khanna described Bigg Boss as not just a reality show but a learning experience. He said that his aim was not to defeat or humiliate anyone. He already knew that people would be targeted in the show and mental pressure would be created, but his aim was to make himself a better person.

Gaurav said that Bigg Boss is a sensible game, if you understand it properly. He had decided from the very beginning that he had not come to please the people present in the house. His decisions were his own and he stuck to them and tried to stay away from unnecessary fights.
