These decisions have been taken after meetings held with industrial units in the last two-three days, which will be strictly implemented in all the factories of the district.

According to the administration, now workers will be paid overtime at double the rate and there will be no deduction in it. Besides, every worker will be compulsorily given weekly leave. If a worker is made to work on Sunday, the payment for that day will also be doubled. Apart from this, payment of bonus will be ensured directly into the bank accounts of the workers till 30th November as per rules.
