Gautam Gambhir brutally trolled on social media after India’s poor show in Pune Test

New Delhi: Head coach Gautam Gambhir was brutally trolled on social media by netizens after India’s poor show on the second day of the ongoing second Test match against New Zealand in Pune. In reply to New Zealand’s first innings score of 259, India were shot out for just 156 runs in the second session of play on Day 2 at the MCA stadium.

With already a lead of 103 runs in their pocket, the Kiwis showed excellence soaring their total lead to 301 runs at the end of day’s play with 5 wickets in hand. The Black Caps added almost 200 runs in a session and a half, smashing the Indian bowlers all across the stadium to ensure dominance in the match. Skipper Tom Latham top-scored for the side with a valiant 86 runs while Tom Blundell, who remained unbeaten at day end scored 30 runs.

Gautam Gambhir brutally trolled

Meanwhile, it will be tough for Team India again in this Test match to recover and chase the score given by the Kiwis. As of now, the lead has swelled up to 301 runs and with 5 more wickets in hand and even if India producing some exceptional bowling stuff, a lead of at least 350 runs looks certain. Chasing such a heavy score in the last innings of the game and especially with the kind of form India is in, it will be a difficult chase.
