Gave the names of England players to their 6 dogs, even star cricketers could not stop laughing – Read
Many people name their children after their favorite player, actor or politician. For example, former Indian captain and great batsman Sunil Gavaskar had named his son after West Indies great Rohan Kanhai. Whereas Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar was named after the great musician of his time, Sachin Dev Burman. But there are some people who give the names of their favorite characters to their pets too. A video of one such fan has surfaced, who has named not one, two or three, but 6 dogs after England’s cricketers.
In the podcast of former England women’s cricket team bowler Alex Hartley and her fellow fast bowler Kate Cross, a fan revealed the names of their dogs. In the episode featuring these two English cricketers, the host of ‘No Balls: The Cricket Podcast’, a fan introduced him to his six small dogs and also told the names of each one. This video has been posted from the social media accounts of the podcast, in which it is seen that a fan named Jo has named her 6 small dogs after the players of England women’s and men’s cricket team.
Dogs named after these players
One of these dogs has been named after the show’s host Kate Cross. Apart from these, the names of women’s team’s fast bowler Lauren Bell, spinner Sarah Glenn and batsman Danny Wyatt-Hodge have also been given to these lovely dogs. The opening pair of England men’s Test team has also got a place in this special family. One of these dogs has been named Jack Crowley and the other has been named Ben Duckett. This fan told that every dog has been named after cricketers only on the request of his children. Even Kate Cross and Alex Hartley could not stop laughing after watching this video.

Sundar also gave a funny name
By the way, Team India’s young all-rounder Washington Sundar has also given a special name to his dog, which has a connection with cricket. Four years ago, Team India had won the Gabba Test on the Australia tour, on the basis of which Team India also won the series. Sundar made his debut in that test and did wonders with the bat in both the innings, scoring 84 runs and also took 4 wickets. After this victory, when Sundar returned to India, he brought a new dog and named it Gaba. Now Sundar is once again in Australia. Let’s see whether he does something like this again after performing something amazing or not?
