  • Villagers say that this plant has completely changed the picture of the village. Earlier, cow dung was spread in the streets of the village, due to which dirt and diseases spread. Now all the dung is deposited in the plant.
  • The residue that remains after gas production is being used by farmers in the fields as organic fertilizer. Due to this, the quality of the crop has also improved and the expenditure on chemical fertilizers has also reduced.
  • This change has also brought a lot of relief for the women of the village. Earlier, cooking on wood stove took a lot of time and the smoke caused irritation in the eyes. Now food is cooked quickly and without smoke using cow dung gas, which keeps the kitchen clean and also saves time.
  • Village head Ishwar Manjhi says that this project, besides being beneficial for the environment, is also making the villagers economically stronger. Today many families in the village are not completely dependent on external gas supply.
