UAE has sent huge help to the people of Gaza under its ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’. This week, five aid convoys reached Gaza, carrying 786 tons of food and essential items like tents in 64 trucks.

Before this help, on June 14 also, 544 tonnes of goods were sent through 42 trucks. Apart from this, a special plane also left from Sharjah International Airport on June 16 and 17, carrying 100 tonnes of ration and milk powder for small children. This help was sent on the instructions of Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla.
Treatment and financial help for patients
UAE’s floating hospital is also working for the patients of Gaza. On June 9, five new patients arrived there, taking the total number of patients receiving treatment since February 2026 to 90. At the same time, Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has provided additional assistance of 3.67 crore dirhams (about 99 lakh dollars) on June 8, which includes 1 lakh 60 thousand food parcels and 40 thousand health kits.
In May 2026 also, more than 930 tonnes of aid was sent through four convoys, which also included clothes for Eid-ul-Azha. On May 20, 100 tons of goods were sent through an aircraft.
How big is this help?
Operation Chivalrous Night 3 began in November 2023 on the orders of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Operation spokesperson Mohammad Alsharif said that so far a total of more than 1 lakh 23 thousand tons of aid has been sent, whose value is more than 3.1 billion dollars. This is about 46 percent of the total aid reaching Gaza from around the world.
In this entire work, the UAE team is working closely with Egyptian government and private organizations so that the goods reach the people at the right time. Along with this, Jordan has also supported UAE to provide air aid to Gaza.
