Latest Milan transfer news: Sorloth and Goretzka approve summer moves
Milan are preparing to strengthen their team for 2026-27 when they will likely return to the Champions League.
The Rossoneri will be looking to add quality and depth to their team, and a new centre-forward is among their priorities for the summer.
According to Gazzetta, Norway international Sorloth has given the green light to a possible move to San Siro, so the Rossoneri will now negotiate with Atletico Madrid.
Club-to-club talks are expected to begin in the coming weeks, as the Colchoneros and their striker are now fully focused on their Champions League campaign after reaching the semifinals of Europe’s elite competition.
According to the report, Milan will make an opening €20m offer before the World Cup and hope to secure a deal before the competition begins next summer, to avoid a potential price increase.
The same goes for Goretzka who is also involved in the Champions League semifinals with Bayern Munich.
The German is available on a free transfer as he won’t extend his expiring contract with the Bavarians, but he is in no hurry to finalise talks.

According to Gazzetta, Milan have offered a three-year contract with an option for a further campaign.
The German midfielder has approved the transfer, but more offers may arrive in the coming weeks, and the 31-year-old will only choose his next club at the end of the season.
