In this series, a unique marriage is in discussion in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, where Markus Eder of Germany married local girl Rulan Verma (Rohni) with full Hindu customs. This grand function was held at the Royal Realty Hotel in the city, which was attended by a large number of people.

A wedding procession from Germany arrived in Barabanki.
It was told that Rulan Verma is a professor and scientist at the University of Vienna, Austria. She met Marcus during her PhD. The professional relationship gradually turned into love and the two decided to get married in a traditional manner in India.
In this marriage all the rituals were performed with Vedic chanting and seven rounds. About 16 guests from Germany attended the wedding procession along with the groom. The foreign guests also danced on Bollywood songs in desi style wearing sherwani and saree.
