Ghaziabad Crime: A very strange case has come to light from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Here the police caught a couple who robbed a chain, but what came out during the interrogation surprised the police. The husband and wife told the police that both of them used to commit such crimes only so that they could repay the bank loan. This reason made both of them a robber.

According to the information, the police, while uncovering two incidents, have recovered a gold chain, Rs 3200 and the scooter used in the incident from the couple. ACP Wavecity Lipi Nagayach said that on November 15, an incident of chain robbery from a woman by scooter riders was reported in front of Ajnara Market in Crossing Republic police station area. On the complaint of the woman, the police registered a case and started searching for the accused. After this, two police teams were formed to arrest the accused.

The teams analyzed footage from more than 500 CCTV cameras. After watching the footage, it was revealed that a woman was also included among the scooter riders. On the basis of the footage, the police reached the accused and arrested them. During interrogation, the accused have been identified as Vivek Pandey and his wife Kirti Sharma, residents of Skardi Green Society of Wave City police station area.

The financial condition started deteriorating

According to ACP Wave City, during interrogation, the accused told that they used to study together in college. Both of them studied B.Com and then started doing private jobs. After being in touch for years, they had a love marriage. It is said that Vivek Pandey, originally a resident of Ayodhya, lived with his wife Kirti as his son-in-law. After losing their jobs, both of them started struggling with financial crisis. To improve the situation, both of them decided to adopt the path of crime.

The pressure of the bank started increasing

According to the police, Vivek Pandey and his wife Kirti had taken a loan on the credit card of a private bank. Whose installments they were not able to pay on time, but pressure was being exerted from the bank. As the pressure increased, both of them came out on a scooter and looted a chain from a woman in Crossing Republic police station area and fled away. After this, he also committed another incident in the Crossing Republic police station area. The accused told that they had sold one of the looted chains to a person passing by citing their compulsion, but the police recovered the other chain from them.
