Gift of Rs 33,500 crore to Delhi on Women’s Day: PM Modi said – Disaster government had stopped Delhi’s development journey.

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the development of Delhi had stopped due to the disaster government, but in the last one year, development is taking place everywhere in Delhi and people are getting its benefits. After inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 33,500 crore in Delhi at an event organized in Burari here on Sunday, PM Modi said that now it is being known how necessary it was that Delhi got rid of the disaster a year ago. If there was no emergency government, the fourth phase of the metro would have been completed earlier. After the formation of BJP government, development has gained momentum all around in Delhi.

Lakhs of people travel by buses every day in Delhi, hence people have got clean and comfortable bus service. More than four thousand buses are serving Delhi, which also includes EV buses. The disaster government had stopped the development work for about ten years but now the development is being done at a fast pace. The BJP government is also working on a large scale for the cleaning of Yamuna. The earlier disaster government in Delhi was not bothered about the problems of the people. The disaster government never cared for the poor but under the leadership of Rekha Gupta the conditions are continuously being improved. In the last one year, a large number of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have been built from which people are getting benefits. There is a model of development in Delhi. Work begins, excuses end.

The Prime Minister said that including the expansion of the Metro, facilities for thousands of employees are continuously being expanded. The results of the hope with which the BJP government was formed in Delhi are visible in the development works. Today’s program is also special for another reason and that is International Women’s Day. In the field of politics, administration, science, sports or social service, Indian women are moving forward with a new energy.

PM Modi said that when anyone in the world thinks about India’s vast democracy, the picture of Delhi comes to mind. The development of Delhi is not just the development of one city but is linked to the image of the entire country. The more modern Delhi is, the stronger India’s self-confidence will be visible to the world. Today Delhi is progressing in terms of facilities. There was a time when only the poor system of Delhi was discussed. It used to take hours to travel from one part of Delhi to another but now development is progressing rapidly.

He said that no big city in the world has such a big network as Delhi has. With the expansion of the metro network, movement of people will become easier. The Prime Minister said that today wherever in the country there is a BJP government, people are definitely getting the benefits of some scheme or the other. The BJP government is definitely doing something for all sections of the society. Understanding the pain of the street vendors, the BJP government has connected them with banking and they are getting easy loans. In Delhi, debit cards were once available only to the rich, but now street vendors have credit cards and are taking advantage of them.
