Under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager/Prayagraj Rajneesh Aggarwal, an important achievement has been achieved in the direction of making rail and road traffic more safe, smooth and uninterrupted. Successful launching/installation of steel girders was completed on the railway portion of the road over bridge under construction to ease the traffic at level crossing gate no. 19 located near Lusa on Chunar-Chopan railway section.

The total length of the ROB under construction is 585 meters, while the length of the railway portion is 36 meters and width is 7.5 meters. This project will provide better and uninterrupted connectivity to Chunar Nagar with State Highway-35 (Mirzapur-Sonbhadra Road). After the construction of the road over bridge, there will be relief from the jam at the level crossing and there will be significant improvement in the safety and operational efficiency of both road and rail traffic.

Modern technologies and safety standards were completely followed during the construction work. With the help of huge cranes, steel girders were installed at the designated place. This work is an excellent example of coordinated efforts of Railways and construction agencies.

After the completion of the road over bridge, the residents of the area, business activities and travelers will get great convenience in transportation. Also, this project will make a significant contribution in promoting regional development and better transport infrastructure.
