‘Give up your weapons or else take strict action’… Amit Shah gave last warning to Naxalites in Lok Sabha!

Tezzbuzz Desk – During the discussion in the Lok Sabha on the issue of Naxal-free India, Union Home Minister Amit Shah fiercely targeted the opposition, especially the Indian National Congress. He said that the country struggled with the problem of Naxalism for a long time, but now the situation is changing rapidly.

‘Naxalism under control, picture changed in Bastar’

Amit Shah said that at one time 12 states of the country were affected by Naxalism, but now the situation has improved significantly. He claimed that Naxalism has almost ended in Bastar region of Chhattisgarh and development work is progressing rapidly there. Schools have been constructed in every village.

‘Whoever takes up arms will be held accountable’

Giving a clear message, the Home Minister said that the government is walking on the path of development and peace, but strict action will be taken against whoever takes up arms. He also alleged that the opposition was showing sympathy towards the Naxalites.

Shah accused the Congress of not paying attention to the development of tribal areas during its long rule. He said tribals remained backward for a long time due to lack of basic amenities like housing, water, education and banking.

‘There is no room for development in Naxal ideology’

The Home Minister said that the ideology of Naxalism is based on violence, where power is said to be achieved through guns. He alleged that Naxalites mislead innocent tribals and take them on the path of violence.

Amit Shah also said that due to Naxalism, development stopped in the Red Corridor areas and poverty increased. He alleged that Naxalites targeted schools to stop the spread of education.
