The shocking incident left the actor with multiple stab wounds and required emergency medical intervention.

Acknowledging the concern and support from well-wishers, Kareena also highlighted the overwhelming impact of intense media scrutiny. “While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. The attack occurred late at night when an intruder managed to enter Saif and Kareena’s Bandra home. The assailant repeatedly stabbed the actor, leaving him with six stab wounds, including one to his neck. Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital with a knife still lodged in his spine.

Following emergency surgery, Saif’s team released a statement confirming that he is out of danger and on the path to recovery. Doctors successfully removed a 2.5-inch piece of the blade from his spine. The injuries were classified as two minor, two intermediate, and two deep stab wounds, one of which was perilously close to his spine.
