Glimpse of Naga Chaitanya’s film Vrishkarma increases curiosity
The glimpse starts on a scary note, with the villain seen making a strange drawing. In a shocking twist, the sketch turns into reality when a man is killed by a bat emerging from the villain’s body. A powerful voice-over says that whenever supernatural forces upset the balance of the world, fate chooses Vrishkarma as the hero.
Kartik Dandu once again dives deep into the mysterious thriller space, making the teaser in a way that leaves the audience curious. This time his signature style is heightened, creating a world that feels both scary and different from typical Indian cinematic settings.
Naga Chaitanya has done a tremendous transformation for this role. Looking stylish and physically intense, it looks like he has put in a lot of hard work to portray the character. His screen presence, action sequences and entire demeanor point towards a performance-driven role.
Sparsh Srivastava leaves a strong impression as the villain, bringing a truly menacing atmosphere to the screen. The glimpse also shows the important characters played by Meenakshi Chaudhary and Jayaram.
On the technical front, cinematographer Regula de Herrion delivers stunning visuals that transport the audience into a carefully designed mysterious universe. Production Designer Mr. Nagendra Tangala’s art in creating an imaginative world adds depth. Ajneesh B. Loknath’s intense background score effectively increases the tension and mood.
Made with the support of SVCC and Sukumar Writings, the film is produced by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar, and presented by Bapinedu. The production values look superb and without any compromise.
While the main story may seem familiar in the supernatural genre, the way it is constructed – especially the sound design, visuals and storytelling – is what makes Vrishkarma stand out. Overall, the first look itself gives a wonderful, adventurous experience which is full of mystery and fantastic things, which increases the curiosity about the film a lot.
