Education revolution begins in Goa, Kejriwal hands over digital power to students by inaugurating e-library
Goa News: A new initiative in the field of education was started at Our Lady of Patrocinio Community Center in Benaulim, Goa. Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated a modern e-library for students here. This project has been initiated by MLA Captain Venji Viegas. Its objective is to provide better and quality education to the students of the state through digital medium.
More than ten thousand e-books were made available
More than 10,000 e-books have been made available in the e-library. Video lectures, simulations and practice modules have also been added for different classes. Apart from this, online test facility has been provided for the preparation of more than 40 competitive examinations including JEE, NEET, CLAT. The special thing is that this entire facility has been kept free of cost, so that students from economically weak families can also study without any hindrance.
How effective will digital e-library prove to be?
Many challenges have been emerging regarding the education system in the state. There is a shortage of teachers and resources in many schools. In such a situation, digital e-library has emerged as a helpful option for students. With this, they will be able to study through modern technology while sitting at home or centre.

On this occasion, education was described as a strong foundation for the development of the society. The aim of the initiative is also to provide better resources to the students of government schools, so that they can perform better in competitive examinations. A large number of students and parents were present in the inauguration ceremony. Everyone welcomed this initiative and expressed hope that this will further strengthen the level of education. This e-library will not only provide digital resources but will also prove helpful in increasing the self-confidence of the students.
