Goa fire accused fled the country to Thailand, police sought help from Interpol

New Delhi : A big revelation has come to light in Goa’s Gola Club fire case. Restaurant-bar owners Gaurav and Saurabh Luthra, who were absconding after the accident, have left India and reached Thailand. After both of them fled abroad, Goa Police has now started the process of seeking help from Interpol through CBI. According to the police, the accused had left India on the day of the incident.

Flight to Phuket caught as soon as fire broke out
According to the information received from the Bureau of Immigration, immediately after the accident, both the brothers flew to Phuket (Thailand) on 6E 1073 flight from Mumbai at 5:30 am on 7th December. After this information came to light, it became clear that both of them had already planned to escape and they were not willing to cooperate in the investigation.

Police pasted notice at Delhi house
The Goa Police team reached the house of the accused in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi, but both were not found there. The police pasted a notice outside the house and directed him to appear soon. It also came to light that on the request of Goa Police, a Lookout Circular (LOC) was issued against both of them on December 7, but by then they had left the country.

Help from Interpol, manager arrested
To trace the location of the accused, Goa Police is now preparing to issue Red Corner Notice (RCN) or related notice from Interpol. Meanwhile, the police has arrested club manager Bharat Kohli from Delhi. Meanwhile, after the postmortem of the deceased, the body has been handed over to the family.

It is not easy to find and bring back from abroad
After Gaurav and Saurabh fled abroad, bringing them back to India has become a big legal challenge for the police. Even when proceedings are initiated through Interpol, the extradition process can be complex and time-consuming. Both the brothers have a flat in Mukherjee Nagar area of ​​Delhi, where the police has completed the formal process.

Phuket ran away as soon as the accident happened
Sources say that both the accused were present in Delhi at the time of the accident. As soon as he received information about the fire in the club, he immediately made preparations to flee to Phuket and left for the airport the same night. The next morning both had left the country and disappeared.
