Goa night club fire, identification of all 25 dead complete, 4 from Delhi and most from Uttarakhand involved.

Goa : After the massive fire that broke out at the ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ night club in Arpora, Goa, continuous updates are coming out regarding the relief and rescue operations. Officials have confirmed that all 25 people killed in the accident have been identified. The dead include 20 staff members and 5 tourists. This incident happened on Sunday morning when work was going on in the club and the fire spread rapidly after a sudden cylinder explosion.

Four tourists from Delhi become victims of accident
Of the five tourists killed, four were from Delhi. These include three members of the same family

• Anita Joshi
• Kamala Joshi

The fourth tourist has been identified as Vinod Kumar. All of them were identified by their relative Bhavna Joshi on Sunday. The fifth deceased tourist was Ishaq from Karnataka, who was identified by his father M.D. Hussain. 20 staff members working in the night club, which include most of the people from Uttarakhand, have also been identified. Maximum of these included five people from Uttarakhand. The identified names are as follows…

Apart from this, deceased from other states

• Four citizens of Nepal: Churna Bahadur Pun, Vivek Katwal, Sabin, Sudeep.
• Three from Jharkhand: Mohit, Pradeep Mahato, Binod Mahato
• Three from Assam: Manojit Mal, Rahul Tanti, Digambar Patir
• Two from Maharashtra: Dominic, Manoj Jora
• Two from Uttar Pradesh: Rohan Singh, Sunil Kumar
• One from West Bengal: Subhash Chhetri

There is mourning in the families due to the incident.
There is a wave of mourning in the entire state after the fire. The government has ordered a magisterial inquiry and said that all possible assistance will be provided to the victims’ families. Police and FSL teams are collecting evidence from the spot to find out whether the accident happened due to negligence or violation of any safety rule.
