Ayodhya, 29 December (Hindustan Reporter). The installation and unveiling of the gold and diamond studded statue of Lord Shri Ram, which came to Ayodhya from Karnataka, was completed on Monday on the second Patotsav of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Pratishtha Dwadashi. Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, unveiled it. The statue has been installed at the passenger convenience centre. Recently, the painter had sent a gold, gemstone and gold studded idol of Lord Sri Rama worth about Rs 30 crores from Bengaluru through post. The idol of Lord Sri Rama has been made on Thanjavur style.
2D picture of Shri Ram Lalla made in Thanjavur style unveiled. Udupi Pejawar Abbot, Trustee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Shri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swami Maharaj, Trust Trustee Mahant Dinendra Das Maharaj of Nirmohi Akhara, Trust General Secretary Champat Rai formally unveiled the 2D picture of Thanjavur style. This picture has been created by Jayshree Phaneesh of Bangalore. This picture has been installed near the statue of Tulsidas at the passenger convenience center.
Gopal Rao, Jayshree, Dr. Phaneesh and their family members and friends associated with the arrangements of the temple were also present in the unveiling program.
Jayshree Phaneesh has self-motivated and worked hard for the last 9 months to create this picture. This 2D drawing was created using thermocol and clay on top of plyboard.
Gopal told that the gifter estimates the value of the picture containing metals like gold, thunderbolt etc. to be around Rs 2.5 crore.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is organizing the second Patotsav of Pratistha Dwadashi in the temple premises, in which Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be present on the main day on 31st December.
