Gold Price March 6: How is the condition of gold today on March 6, will the price fall or rise, know here?
Gold Price March 6: Today, on the morning of March 6, the price of 24 carat gold in the capital Delhi has come down to Rs 1,63,020 per 10 grams. In Mumbai this price was recorded at Rs 1,62,870 per 10 grams. A day earlier, on March 5, due to profit-booking by investors in Delhi’s bullion market, the price of gold had fallen by Rs 7,600 or 4.4 percent to Rs 1,65,200 per 10 grams.
Experts say that the increasing geopolitical tension between America, Israel and Iran increased the demand for safe investment assets, but heavy profit booking at higher levels reduced the impact of this increasing demand.
Tension in the Middle East and impact on gold
On February 28, 2026, Israel and America declared open war against Iran and conducted air strikes. Within a few hours, Iran also retaliated with missiles and drones. Apart from this, Iran also attacked other countries in the Middle East.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed on the same day as Israel’s first attack. Despite this tension, the sudden fall in gold prices was due to profit booking by investors.
