Gold Silver Investment: There is a rise in the prices of gold and silver. On MCX, gold became costlier by about Rs 226 and opened at Rs 76225 per 10 grams and silver became costlier by Rs 431 and is being sold at Rs 90280 per kg.

Latest status of gold and silver on MCX

Today, gold with future delivery on December 5 opened at Rs 76225 per 10 grams. Till 10:35 am, gold orders worth Rs 45137 lakh have been booked. Also, gold with future delivery on February 5 opened at Rs 76988 per 10 grams and till the time of writing the news, 7370 lots of gold had been traded, which was worth Rs 13943 lakh.

In the multi commodity market, silver on December 5 opened at Rs 90280 per kg and has touched the highest level of Rs 90660 per kg. Whereas the silver of March 5 opened at Rs 92580 per kg and is trading at 92989 and the silver of May 5 opened at Rs 95064 per kg and is trading at 94733.

Gold Silver Investment: Gold closed at this rate

Earlier, in the last trading session on MCX on November 19, gold for delivery on December 5 had closed at Rs 76034 per 10 grams, while gold for future delivery on February 5 had closed at Rs 76795 per 10 grams.

In the last trading session on November 19, silver for future delivery on December 5 closed at Rs 90089 per kg on MCX. Apart from this, silver for futures on March 5, 2025 closed at Rs 92409 per kg. Also, the future of silver for May 5, 2025 closed at Rs 94280 per kg.

Gold Silver Investment: Retail price of 24 carat gold in Delhi

On November 21, 2024, the price of 22 carat gold in Delhi is Rs 71,310 per 10 grams, while the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,780 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 71,160 and the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,630 per 10 grams.

In Ahmedabad, the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 71,210 and the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,680. In Chennai, Kolkata, Pune and Bhubaneswar, the price of 22 carat and 24 carat gold is Rs 71,160 and Rs 77,630 per 10 grams respectively. In Lucknow and Jaipur, the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 71,310 and the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,780 per 10 grams.

In Patna, the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 71,210 and the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 77,680. In Bengaluru and Hyderabad also the price of gold is Rs 71,160 and Rs 77,630 per 10 grams.

Due to increase in gold prices

The main reasons for this increase in gold prices include the purchase of gold by local jewelers during the wedding season. Apart from this, due to global geopolitical tensions and new concerns about nuclear threat in Russia-Ukraine conflict, the demand for gold as a safe investment has increased.
