Increasing geopolitical tension is considered to be the main reason behind the rise in gold and silver prices. Investors are being attracted towards safe-haven assets due to tensions between the US and Venezuela as well as increasing tensions in relations between the US and Iran. Apart from this, increase in demand for metals has also pushed the prices of precious metals higher. In such a situation, despite a slight decline in the global market, there is a possibility of further rise in the prices of gold and silver in the coming time.
