While in Delhi, 24 carat gold is priced at Rs 1,48,210, while in Chennai its price has reached Rs 1,49,010 per 10 grams. In metros like Mumbai and Kolkata, the price remains at the level of Rs 1,48,080. Experts believe that this movement is being seen in the domestic market because the price of spot gold in the global market is $ 4,416 per ounce. One week report card: A period of ups and downs. Even though there is a slight decline in prices today, the trend of the last seven days has been bullish. Within a week, 24 carat gold has become costlier by around Rs 2,100 and 22 carat gold by Rs 1,950. A major fall was seen in the Delhi market on Friday, March 28, when gold fell 1.3 percent to close at Rs 1,47,800. Today’s prices have compensated for that decline to some extent but the prices are still below the previous record levels. The shine of silver has also faded, huge decline compared to January. Along with gold, silver prices are also in a softening trend. On the morning of March 30, the price of silver has fallen to Rs 2,44,900 per kg. It is worth noting that in January this year, silver had crossed the historical figure of Rs 4 lakh per kg, in comparison to which now the prices have come down significantly. On Friday, silver had fallen to Rs 11,250 per kg in Delhi. In the international market, silver is currently trading at $ 68.12 per ounce.
