Business Desk – Gold Silver Price Today: There is a fall in the price of gold in the country on Monday, the first day of the week. On the morning of 25th May, gold became cheaper in most cities. In the capital Delhi, the price of 24 carat gold has fallen to Rs 159200 per 10 grams. Talking about the price on weekly basis, last week the price of 24 carat gold increased by Rs 2130. Whereas 22 carat gold became costlier by Rs 1950.
On the other hand, the price of gold has increased in the international market. The reason behind this is the fall in the price of dollar and crude oil. In the international market, spot gold is at $ 4,570.88 per ounce with an increase of 1.4 percent. The price of Brent crude futures has fallen below $ 100 per barrel.
US President Donald Trump has said that the agreement with Iran has been largely finalized. Details are yet to be finalized. Not only this, the complete draft of an interim peace agreement between America and Iran has come out. It is being said that this historic agreement will initially be applicable for 60 days, which can be extended further with the consent of both the countries. During this two-month ceasefire, both the countries will negotiate to reach a permanent agreement regarding the nuclear program.

- Mumbai and Kolkata: In Mumbai and Kolkata, the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 145790 per 10 grams, while the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 159050 per 10 grams.
- Gold price in Chennai: The price of 24 carat gold is Rs 160680 per 10 grams. The price of 22 carat is Rs 147290 per 10 grams.
- Price in Pune and Bengaluru: In both these cities, the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 159050 per 10 grams and the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 145790 per 10 grams.

A slight difference was seen in the prices of gold today in major cities of the country. In the capital Delhi, the price of 22 carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,45,940 per 10 grams and the rate of 24 carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,59,200 per 10 grams. Even in Jaipur, Lucknow and Chandigarh, gold prices remained the same as in Delhi.
In the financial capital Mumbai, 22 carat gold is being sold at Rs 1,45,790 per 10 grams and 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 1,59,050 per 10 grams. The same prices have also been recorded in Kolkata and Hyderabad.
In Ahmedabad and Bhopal, the price of 22 carat gold stood at Rs 1,45,840 per 10 grams, while 24 carat gold reached Rs 1,59,100 per 10 grams.
The most expensive gold was recorded today in Chennai, the major city of South India. Here the price of 22 carat gold was Rs 1,47,290 per 10 grams and the price of 24 carat gold was Rs 1,60,680 per 10 grams. The effect of the constantly changing international market and the movement of the dollar is being seen in the domestic bullion market also.

The price of another precious metal, silver, also continues to fall. On the morning of 25th May, the price of silver has come down to Rs 284900 per kg. In the month of January this year, the price of silver in the country had crossed the figure of Rs 4 lakh. On the other hand, the price of spot silver has also increased in the international market. It has increased by 3.9 percent to reach $ 78.42 per ounce.
