Gold Silver Price Today: Gold at new record level, silver crosses $91 in Comex market, know today’s price

Delhi. Gold and silver prices hit new highs in the futures markets on Wednesday as investors turned to safer investment options in view of geopolitical tensions. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for March delivery rose by Rs 12,803, or 4.65 per cent, to an all-time high of Rs 2,87,990 per kg.

On MCX, gold futures for delivery in February rose by Rs 932, or 0.65 per cent, to reach a record Rs 1,43,173 per 10 grams. Globally, silver futures in the COMEX market crossed the US $ 91 an ounce mark for the first time.

Contracts for delivery in March rose US$5.03, or 5.83 percent, to a new high of $91.37 an ounce. On the COMEX market, gold contracts for delivery in February rose by US$37.61, or 0.82 percent, to trade at $4,636.71 an ounce.
