Gold Silver Price Update: There is an increase in the price of gold and silver today i.e. on 30th March. According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), 10 grams of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs 3 thousand to reach Rs 1.46 lakh. At the same time, the price of one kg silver has increased by Rs 6 thousand to Rs 2.28 lakh.

The price of gold in the capital Delhi and Rajasthan capital Jaipur is Rs 1,47,430 per 10 grams, which is recorded as the highest similar price in the list. The same price is applicable in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, while in Bihar’s capital Patna and Gujarat’s Ahmedabad city as well as Madhya Pradesh’s capital Bhopal, gold prices are slightly lower at Rs 1,47,330 per 10 grams.
At the same time, the price of gold in Mumbai, Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur and West Bengal’s capital Kolkata is Rs 1,47,280 per 10 grams, which can be seen as the middle range in the list. Gold prices have been highest in Chennai, a major city in South India, at Rs 1,48,370 per 10 grams, which is about Rs 1,000–1,100 higher than other cities.
Gold became costlier by ₹ 13 thousand this year
This year there has been a rise in the price of gold. At the end of last year, gold was at Rs 1.33 lakh per 10 grams, which is now at Rs 1.46 lakh. That means its price has increased by 22 thousand so far this year. However, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 2 thousand.
