The prices of gold and silver have continued to fall since the beginning of the week. Meanwhile, on Wednesday (February 18, 2026), fluctuations in the prices of gold and silver are being seen once again. As soon as the commodity market opened on Wednesday morning, there was an increase in the prices of gold and silver. On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold for April delivery reached Rs 1,52,786.00 per 10 grams with an increase of Rs 1,368.00, or 0.90 percent, on Wednesday morning. Apart from this, silver for March delivery also rose by Rs 4,629.00 or 2.02 percent to Rs 2,33,412.00 per kg.

Gold and silver prices increased

It is being told that due to weak global signals and sluggish demand recently, there was a decline in the prices of gold and silver in the bullion market. A decline of about 2 percent was recorded in both gold and silver. After the reduction in prices, gold came down to Rs 1.57 lakh per 10 grams, while the price of silver came down to Rs 2.45 lakh per kg.

The price of 22 carat gold is Rs 1,13,192 per 8 grams, while the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 1,23,472 per 8 grams.

Mumbai :
The price of 22 carat gold is Rs 1,13,072 per 8 grams, while the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 1,23,352 per 8 grams.

Chennai :
The price of 22 carat gold is Rs 1,14,552 per 8 grams, while the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 1,24,965 per 8 grams.

Hyderabad:
The price of 22 carat gold in the city is Rs 1,13,072 per 8 grams, while the price of 24 carat gold remains at Rs 1,23,352 per 8 grams.
